Robyn from Crossroads provides service to those who participate in the National Disability Insurance Scheme or NDIS.
This service is particularly useful for participants who struggle with communication and those with intellectual disability.
Participants develop skills in problem solving, self regulation and increased confidence.
They utilise toys in the specialist play room to identify strong emotion and work through challenges, coming to a natural resolution and building independence.
Therapeutic sessions are available for teens in the community.
It is important for me as a practitioner to understand how challenges impact your teen.
I also understand the office environment may not be appropriate to work with your teen and develop an individual plan to suit their needs and work towards achieving their goals.
1:1 support is available for you too.
Support is confidential and supportive. If you can’t make it to the office, we can come to some other arrangement.
We will work together to identify what is important to you and how to achieve your goals.
I can’t wait to get started.
All sessions are 50 minutes in duration and we complete the service agreement at the commencement of the service so we all know what to expect.
